When bulking, I follow the strategy of few reps, high volume, many sets. I do a lot of supersets and train the tatgeted muscles to failure.
What about when I change to cutting? What is the major change that I should do in my workouts? I currently think that I should change to more reps, lower weights, explosive sets instead of slow, and not so much work till failure, is this correct? |

No. Cutting is more about the diet than the workout. If you change your workout too much then your energy expenditure may increase to much and you'll find you'll need more calories.

yea most people will stay stick with what your doing. its still possible to make some gains doing the same workout during a cut and you want to be able to keep as much muscle as possible when cutting. you should either be upping ur cardio and/or lower ur calorie intake in order to get that calorie deficit to slowly lose the fat.

I like to change it up. Not that you should or you have to. In general i change up my routine every 6 weeks. So during my 12 week diet I will have 2 routines. One reason to change it up , is to lessen the amount of stress you put on your body when you lift heavy heavy weights. This doesn't mean you don't go full out or till failure, you might increase your reps, or super set to get you self to failure.

the only difference between cutting and bulking is your diet and cardio.

It's all about maximizing the results for your body.
I am cutting now and it would be hard to have the same routine as when i was bulking. I put my body through a lot of pain to get good gains....and when you are cutting you won't have the same energy to do that... I did my first workout on my diet today , check out my blog for the details

the only thing that should change on a cut is your diet.
