Default too much fat?

I know it's important to have a good source of carbs and quick burning protein in the mornings, i was wondering what the upper limit of fat intake is?

just wondering because i really enjoy throwing some nuts on top of my oats or using a few egg yolks or maybe some real cheese.

a typical breakfast for me on non-8am class mornings consists of an omelet and some oatmeal the macro's come out to be something like
650kcal, 45pro, 65-70carbs, 12-16 fat... too much fat? most comes from egg yolk, 2 servings of oats, and nuts

on 8am class mornings i stick to a whey shake with some oatmeal/nut/fruit combo normally giving me about 450kcal, 40pro, 50-60carb, 10-12fat

my main goals as of now are maintenance or slight hypertrophy.

will the range of fat intake be detrimental to the absorption of the essentials of eating clean foods in the morning to break out of catabolism?

10 grams of fat in a meal is more like a minimum. So no, that is definitely not too much fat.

To maximize the testosterone response, you need around 60-70 grams daily.

o wow, 60-70... i've been below that for quite some time. i hover around 45-55 grams/day.

i currently weigh 143 (sigh) but im working on gaining some lean mass.
dou know what the recommended % kcal from fat a diet should consist of because 60-70 may be a little high for my weight.

and how much of that should be sat. fat? i remember reading a post a while back about sat. fat. directly related to test levels, so i've been attempting to make sure i consume a big each day.

There is evidence that there is an acute meal benefit with fish oil, such as improved cardiovascular function (chris fahs did a study on that). So I take a gram with 3 meals daily.

And yes, eat away K!

Klosey, look into a product called PB2. its powdered peanuts and extremely low fat. i often add it to my pwo shake which makes it taste amazing. if u can get it in the UK its something to consider buying and just adding to a shake.
